Aside from some minor logistical frustrations - split crew, not enough materials - the trip was great! Would I do it again - most definitely. Although, I believe there's a new ministry in the works. I'll let you know when I know more from Bill.
We arrived in Louisville Tuesday morning, I got home around 2:30p, on the couch by 3 visited with mom for a couple of hours around 6 then back to bed. I finally got up around noon Wednesday. Jet lag extreme!
And until I get the whole presentation ready, I'm going to post some of my favorite shots from the trip - some turned out pretty "artsy." The top center one is us at Arnold's sister church in Jagna, Bohol. There were so many kids there! The next one is our crew at the Dawis-New Lucena, Iloilo site. We all had such a fun time together!
Here's Joyce being Joyce!
This is Dick, the best cement guy in the Philippines! He and his wife are expecting a baby - it was a surprise - she's 50, he's 52!
Here's a future elephant ear - these things grow like weeds along the roadside over there.
The planks landed totally by accident - so I got the shoot before they used the wood for scaffolding again.

A couple of our little helpers at site 2.
This little girl's not too sure about the crazy white American guys. She was much better when we passed out lollipops!
Steve with a new little friend - a tarshier monkey, the smallest monkey in the world!
Bill overlooking the Chocolate Hills. He was deep in thought way up there, new ministry starting and missing Thomas back home.
Sunrise over the sea!
